Hello! I’m so glad you’re here.

Everyone deserves a chance to feel seen, heard, and valued for exactly who they are. For many people, therapy is a space to finally experience feeling understood.

When we’re in the thick of a difficult transition or struggling to keep up with the challenges life throws at us, it can be so hard to make sense of the painful feelings, thoughts, and habits that arise. My job is to work together with you to understand your story, discover your strengths, and work toward your goals. It may be helpful for us to explore your relationships with family, past experiences, and cultural influences to better understand you as a whole. Or maybe you just want to focus forward and learn practical strategies to start making changes in your life. That’s ok too!

There are a ton of different ways to approach therapy and healing looks different for everyone. We might explore techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma-informed care, family therapy, and more as they feel helpful to you. The most important thing I can offer is a space where you feel safe and listened to.

You have already taken a huge step by starting to explore your options! It would be my privilege to be a part of your journey. If I’m not the right fit for you, I can also help you find someone who is.

Niamh is a Master's Level Student Therapist and provides counselling services as part of our low cost counselling program.

Niamh's fees are $75 per hour and a sliding scale is available to reduce barriers to counselling services.
